In this year, on the month of March, the CEO of the well-known Chinese giant Huawei Consumer Business Group announced that the company is developing its own mobile operating system, and as result the Chinese giant Huawei could no longer use the Android and Windows operating system.
Meanwhile, several months have passed and the United States has not provided it to Huawei in the meantime, although the president of the US, Donald Trump announced at the end of June at the G20 Summit that he wanted to ease trade restrictions on Huawei.
However, this for Huawei does not seem particularly convincing, hence, the development of its own operating system is still in full swing. According to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei this operating system is much faster than the Android and Mac operating system.

In addition, it is not only aimed at smartphones, but also other types of electronic devices like tablets, portable devices, and computers. In China, the operating system would already be available on some phones, as announced earlier this month.
The brand new mobile operating system of the Chinese giant Huawei could be ready for the year-end launch for Chinese users, as the CEO of Huawei, Yu Chengdong said. While the global launch could continue in the first quarter of 2020.
However, here the fact is that the Chinese brand Huawei has already introduced several trademarks for its future operating system in June 2019. And here we have some names that we can consider, HongMeng OS, HMOS (HongMeng OS) and Ark OS. The latter may become the international name, while the name HongMeng is likely to be used in China itself.
After HongMeng and Ark OS now Huawei has registered another name for its new OS
The Chinese brand Huawei had registered another trademark on July 12, 2019, and this time it is known as ‘Huawei Harmony’. This trademark has been requested in the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).
The application is categorized as Class 9, with the description, mobile operating systems, computer operating systems, and Downloadable operating system programs.
The registered trademark has been submitted by Forresters of Germany, Munich. This company has often acted on behalf of Huawei Technologies, including the name of Hong Meng, but also for the newly launched Huawei P Smart Z.
From the beginning, the well-known Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has indicated that it does not want to introduce its new operating system as long as the company retains access to Android and Windows operating systems.
However, the fact is that now everything seems to be relaxed, and it may possible that the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei’s new operating system never come up to compete Android and Windows.

But, this does not mean that the development and internal tests will do not happen, basically, time will say that if Huawei will compete against the tech giant Google’s popular Android operating system or not. As the company is aware that it will undoubtedly take a few more years simply to make the Huawei App Gallery is as complete as the Google Play Store.
