Recently a design concept of OnePus 6 6 has appeared that shows some ideas and features of the devices, including a bright logo used as a notification light. The launch of the next OnePlus smartphone may take some time especially considering that the Oneplus 5 hit the market now in June.
However, this does not prevent designers from keeping an eye on the possible Oneplus 6 and wondering how it would be in terms of style and specifications.
As a reminder, this is a concept purely based on leaks, industry trends, and pure, pure imagination so that the device that will actually reach the market may be completely different from what we are seeing here.
Besides the phone owning these brilliant notifications there are other very interesting touches with this concept. For example, the phone has a design almost completely without borders on the sides and the bottom and has only a very thin part at the top of the screen.
The cameras also received a lot of attention as this OnePlus 6 concept packs a rear dual camera configuration with 25-megapixel sensors arranged vertically and a 16-megapixel camera on the front with LED flash.
Compared to the Oneplus 5 that features a dual 20-megapixels and 16-megapixel rear camera and a single 16-megapixel front camera, it would be an interesting evolution for the device that will come out next year.
The concept even provides some additional specs including a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with QHD resolution, 8GB of RAM, 64/128/256GB flash storage models and 4000 mAh models.
The device, at least in this concept, is thought to come in Jet Black, Gold, and Pearl White colors and is resistant to water and dust thanks to the IP68 certification standard, which means it can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes up to a distance of 1.5 meters.
Finally, this brilliant logo can not only be used as notification alert but also conceals built-in biometric sensors that can be used for various health checks such as hemoglobin levels and heart rate.
Rumors and leaks about the upcoming Oneplus smartphone have been pretty rare so far, but Oneplus has hinted some time ago that the fingerprint scanner could be moved to the back of the device.
