Huawei CEO: ‘Huawei P20 Will Be Much Better Than The iPhone X’
With the 2018 Mobile World Congress already in its final stretch, and the pace of launches in clear decline compared to the first days, the top executives of the companies take advantage of these last days of the fair to unveil their future plans.

Richard Yu: Huawei will be among the first two manufacturers in one or two years
According to reports from the Chinese media ITHome, during an informative meeting with several journalists held last Sunday, after the presentation of their MediaPad M5 tablet, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s mobile division, wanted to disclose some other detail about the plans of the future of the company.
How could it be otherwise, Yu wanted to make clear that the Huawei P20, which will be presented next month, will be “much better” than the iPhone X, the latest model presented by Apple in September 2017, and according to the latest tracks, would have served as inspiration for Huawei when it came to designing its next flagship phone.
That is not all, much less. As stated by the CNMC, some of the journalists present at the meeting used Apple’s latest model, Huawei’s CEO decided to borrow one of them, and leave his usual script to comment on the benefits and advantages of his next P20 with respect to the telephone of the tech giant Apple.
“We will have a great bold innovation in camera technology. It will be much better than all the phones. Maybe I’m not humble, but ours is better, it’s not just a little better, but much better” Richard Yu, the CEO of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei.
In his last words, he also did not miss the opportunity to remind Apple how close it is to overcome it worldwide in terms of market share within the telephony sector. According to Yu, in no more than two years, Huawei will consolidate within the first two positions of the smartphone market.

We maintain strong growth. Sooner or later we will have the number one market share.”
The Huawei P20 will be presented, along with the Plus, Lite, and an alleged “Pro” edition, on March 27 at an event held in Paris.
