Hacker Install Windows 10 On Lumia 1520 Windows Phone:Â If we talk about Microsoft, the company is known for its operating system. However, Microsoft also holds a mobile phone section that failed miserably. The company has confirmed that their Windows mobile devices will no longer receive updates.
However, the hardcore fans of Microsoft’s Windows phones don’t seem to give up on the platform. They are often found trying hard to keep Windows mobile operating system alive. Recently, a Twitter user known as Gustave M managed to run Both Windows 10 (ARM version) and Windows RT on Lumia 1520 phablet.
Microsoft Lumia 1520 phablet was once sold as the company’s flagship device. However, just like every other Windows phone, this one also failed. Running Windows 10 on Lumia 1520 was made possible because of Windows Phone Internals 2.3 which opens the door to a series of new projects.

If we talk about the functionality of Lumia 1520 after installing Windows 10, the touchscreen doesn’t work because the Windows 10 UI is not optimized for smaller screens with touch input. Anyone who manages to run Windows 10 on Lumia devices needs to use a mouse and keyboard.

Whatever the thing is, the above achievement clearly indicates that there might be life for Windows phone despite Microsoft dropping its own mobile platform. However, the biggest challenge is to run Android on Windows Phone. Running Android on Windows is work in progress right now and it’s hard to assume whether it’ll succeed or not.
