Intel’s New Core i9 Processor Will Be A BEAST!
It is not especially new that it is known that Intel is preparing a revolution in its line of processors. It has been noted in the past that there were rumors pointing to a new high-end processor within the Intel Core family. Now, more details have been known than it will be the Intel Core i9.
Intel does not want to be left behind after AMD has set the bar high with the AMD Ryzen. That is why Intel will take the opportunity to launch processors with 6, 8, 10 and 12 cores under a new nomenclature, the Intel Core i9. These will be positioned in the highest range of consumer processors and will belong to the new generation codenamed Basin Falls that will be split into the Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X.
This new series of processors framed as Intel Core-X Series will focus on the sector of PC players, or at least interpret the presentation. This new generation of Intel processors would also bring with it the arrival of a new architecture with the new LGA-2066 socket.

If we focus on the Intel Core i9, judging by both images, we can see how it will arrive in 4 different models, each more powerful than the previous one. As we have already indicated, the different versions will come in 6, 8, 10 and 12 cores, each with a lower base clock frequency with more processing cores. Even so, with Turbo Clock 3.0 technology you can achieve really high clock rates. Another important detail of these new processors will be the threads of execution that will be nothing more and nothing less than double of the cores that has the processor.

The Intel Core-X Series does not remain alone in improvements at the level of cores and threads of execution. Improvements will also be noticed in the amount of level 3 cache which will help certain tasks to be performed faster by being able to directly access the data stored in the processor cache.
Another piece of information we get from the presentation image made in Germany is that the Core i7 will support up to 2 RAM modules type DDR4-2666 and the Intel Core i9 will support 4 modules of the same type. Finally, the new Core-X Series processors will have a greater number of PCIe tracks.
