Meet The World’s First Hotel Room For Gamers

When a player has to travel, he knows that he can only take a portable console, a hybrid such as Nintendo Switch, a laptop or a mobile phone loaded with games. If you have to stay at a hotel, you might say ‘come on, the TV has HDMI, I could have brought the console’. However, now this problem will end, at least in Panama with the Alienware Room.

Alienware Room is a room loaded with technology that is located in room 2425 on the 24th floor of the Hilton Panama Hotel. If you are thinking that you will have a big TV, a gaming chair and a PC or console and nothing else, you are completely wrong. The Alienware Room that will open its doors this April 19 will have a lot of gaming devices to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The first thing that stands out is that the room, as well as the hallway, has the Alienware lighting device that allows us to regulate the colour and intensity of the light to create a custom environment. In addition, it highlights a huge 65-inch OLED TV with 4K resolution and a 5.1 DTS sound system.

Now, and to play? The Alienware Room does not go barefoot in this sense and we have two computers. The desktop, connected to the main TV, is an Alienware with an Intel Core i7-8700K, 32 GB of RAM and a GTX 1080 Ti, almost nothing. Beside it, we find an Oculus Rift device and a playseat (which is the one that incorporates the 5.1 sound system.) This system is designed to be enjoyed with the two Elite Controller Xbox One and, according to Dell, will soon be updated with Intel Core processors i9.

If we want to play with keyboard and mouse games, we have an Alienware 15-inch laptop that mounts an i7-7700HQ processor, 32 GB of RAM and a GTX 1070 as graphics. Of course, we will not have to play on the 15.6-inch screen of the laptop, but on the Alienware curved 34-inch monitor.

The views are spectacular and the entire room is governed by the Alienware logo. Now, the important thing. Staying overnight in the Alienware Room costs $359. Oh, yes, it also has a couple of beds, but no one will mind too much counting and having paid, with the comforts that we can see in the images.
