Here’s What Bill Gates Would Do If He Had To Live On $2 A Day: We are going to recall a post, in which World’s richest Man Bill Gates shared views on what he would do to improve his life if he only lived for $2 a day.
Bill Gates shared his views on what he would do to improve his life if he only lived for $2 a day on his Gates notes blog. But, before answering this point, he points out that this is a real issue for almost 1 billion people living in poverty today.
Bill Gate said that he would love to raise chicken if he has just two dollars to spend in a day. Microsoft co-founder said “That’s what i would do – I would raise chickens”
He also shared a valid reason behind this, he said that he has met lots of people in poor nations who breed chickens. Bill Gates said “I have learned a lot about the ins and outs of owning these birds”
According to Bill Gates, breeding chicken seems to be a good option because they are a good investment and are easy and cheap to take care of. Apart from these, Chickens also provide great nutrition value to children and also empower women.
Bill Gates Explained “If a woman owns 5 hens in the start and her neighbor owns a rooster, the hens’ eggs could be fertilized. Three months later, she will own a flock of 40 little chicks. Selling them at a price of $5/chicken, she can earn $1000+ a year. Notably, this is more than the extreme poverty line of $700 (about $2 a day) in West Africa.”
